The Lancaster County SEC (known locally as the Water Quality Volunteer Coalition) has approximately 35 members. Thus far, the group’s main focus has been water quality monitoring, and the group is broken into 9 teams that monitor 20 sites. The group has one main lab and two satellite labs.
The group is sponsored by the Lancaster County Conservation District. Anyone who is concerned about the quality of water in Lancaster County and other environmental issues is welcome to join the group!
